| Municipal employees demand regularisation of services | | | Early Times Report
Jammu, Sept 13: A massive demonstration was held at Subash Chamber Base park, town hall by the workers of municipal employees federation demanding regularization of their services as already done in case of Srinagar municipal employees. Addressing the protestors Anil Kashyap said that the NGO' contractors are not paying the wages @ Rs. 110 per day fixed by the state government. Demonstration also met the Joint Commissioner (A), Jammu Municipal Corporation and brought into his notice, the burning problems, of NGO SKC's who ensure that genuine problem of NGO SKC's shall be amicably after the same is brought to the notice of administrative department within 10 days time. The demonstrator thanked the Joint Commissioner (A), for ensure and simultaneously warned that in case of failure to settle their demands. They will hold the demonstration after expiry of the time limit. |
