Shooting camp concludes at Gulshan Ground | | | EARLY TIMES REPORT JAMMU, Sept 13: Shooting coaching camp for the school children, organised by the Jammu and Kashmir Rifle Association (JKRA) in collaboration with the Jammu and Kashmir Police, concluded today at J&K Police indoor shooting range, Gulshan Ground here today. Deputy Inspector General of Armed Police, Danish Rana was the special invitee. Commandant IRP 3rd SL Koul and SP APCR Sham Sunder Sharma as also DySP, Faisal Qureshi and Pawan Sharma were among others present. Speaking to the shooters, DIG Rana assured all possible help from the Police in future too. "In all, 45 upcoming shooters drawn from different schools attended the 21-day long camp under the guidance of experts from the Police," treasure of the Association, Sudhir Kumar, During the camp, 20 shooters have been shortlisted by the Association on the basis of their performance in the camp for the forthcoming Kumar Surendera All India Inter School Shooting Championship to be held at Faridabad in Uttar Pradesh from October 20. "The Association is also planning to send the selected shooters for advance coaching to at Punjab Police Shooting range in Philaur," informed Sudhir. |
