| Bunglings in BPL ration cards: Hari Singh | | | EARLY TIMES REPORT
Vijaypur, Sep 13: Pradesh Congress committee has demanded compensation for the land under mines at the border area of VijaypurHari Singh-vice president PCC while speaking in a meeting of Block Congress Committee Vijaypur today said that the farmers are unable to cultivate their crops in the fields under mines laid by the Army and they need to be compensated. He demanded immediate compensation for them. He also said that there is great bungling in the Below Poverty Line (BPL) ration cards. It is reported that the actual poor people have been left in the process while the others who do not deserve find place in the BPL level and are getting BPL ration.
He demanded revive and recheck to ensure that not a single deserving case should be left in the process.Vice President PCC further said that the electric poles at various places of Vijaypur block have fallen due to heavy rains, which has caused disrupt in the supply of electric power in the area.
He demanded immediate erection of all fallen and damaged poles to ensure the smooth supply of electricity in the area. He also stressed for repair of road and link roads of the area which have been damaged during the recent rains. Prominent among those who were present in the meeting included. Buti Ram, Madan Lal Chalotra, Rattan Lal Verma, Joginder Singh, Rachpal Choudhary, Suchet Singh, Parkash Sharma, Dheru Ram and others. |
