| Power shut down today | | | EARLY TIMES REPORT
JAMMU, Sept 13: To carry out emergency/ routine maintenance of Ck-I and Ckt-II, rectifying the hot spots at few points and tightening of jumpers of Ckt-I and Ckt-II besides restringing of loose earthwire between span No.89 and 90 of the 220 KV D/C Barn -Kishnpur Transmission Line, the shut down of 220 KV D/C Barn-Kishanpur transmission line of Ckt-I from 9 am to 4 pm and shut down of Ckt-II from 1 pm to 4 pm tomorrow while shut down of Ckt-II from 9 am to 4 pm on September 15. During the shut down period, the power supply to the areas being fed from 220/132/33 KV Grid Sub-Station Barn Akhnoor tehsil, Kot Balwal, Canal, Bakshi Nagar, Top-Sherkhanian shall remain affected tomorrow only between 1 pm to 4 pm. According to Chief Engineer, Elect. Mainte-nance and R.E Wing, Canal Power House, Jammu the shut down shall be subjected to fair weather condition. |
