| Early completion of Balole Bridge discussed | | | early times report
JAMMU, Sept 13: Divisional Commissioner Jammu, Dr. Pawan Kotwal today convened a meeting of officers from Border Roads Organization, GREF, NHIA, R&B to review the progress/status of construction work on National Highway especially on Belole and Salwan bridge. Among others, Project Director, National Highway, M.K jain, Chief Engineer samparak, Brig. Tiwari, Chief Engineer R&B and other senior officers attended the meeting. Interacting with the participants, the Divisional Commissioner said that slow pace of work especially on Belole and Salwan bridge is a matter of serious concern. He said that the roads in these sites are in dilapidated conditions which may cause in accidents and serious law and order problems. He directed the concerned agencies to immediately complete the remaining construction work on these two bridges to avoid any eventuality and for proper flow of traffic and to reduce the traffic congestion. Dr. Kotwal stressed upon the concerned agencies to work in coordinated manner to achieve the desired targets in a time bound manner so that there is no inconvenience caused to the general masses. |
