| Romeo Force celebrates infantry day paid homage to Martyrs | | |

“IF YOU GO HOME TELL THEM OF US FOR YOUR TOMARROW WE LAID OUR TODAY”
On the eve of infantry day celebration G O C Romeo Force Maj.Gen. A C Soneja VSM* paid homage to army martyrs who laid their lives on this day of 1947 while fighting with Razakars ( invaders ) in Kashmir and succeeded in liberating Kashmir from the clutches of enemy . On the occasions large number of jawans and all ranks of army officers were present .
The celebration started with wreath laying and pray for the martyrs followed by saink Sammelan . Mag. Gen . AC Soneja while addressing to the jawan said that we are proud of those heroic and brave soldiers who fight with quabailis aided by Pakistani in Jammu and Kashmir The day is celebrated every years with great respect in commemoration of the heroic deeds of those who laid down their lives for the sake of their motherland .The day is celebrated in the memory of those who have scarified their precious tomorrow for our today
Later in the after noon grand lunch was served to the jawans on the name of Barakhana .
