Bazaz urges PM “Save Kashmir” from total disaster | | | Early Times Report Jammu, Sept 14: Chief of the Jammu and Kashmir Democratic Forum Pandit Bhushan Bazaz while expressing serious concern over the unabated seventeen civilian killings in the valley yesterday urged Prime Minister Dr. Manmohan Singh for his immediate attention to intervene and save Kashmir valley from total disaster. He said several Government buildings and offices have been burnt by an uncontrollable mob hostile to Jammu and Kashmir government. Several innocent people including policemen have been injured or manhandled by public for the reason that there is an anger and fury against the Omar Abdullah government. He said that Governor should be given a free hand to deal with the situation to save further demonstration of the government property and innocent lives in the way the Governor finds fit to act. He said that situation in Kashmir is out of control of the inexperienced Chief Minister. He demanded to impose Governor Rule in the state of J&K.
