Narwal Mandi craves for drinking water

Jammu, Sep 15: The residents of Fruit and Vegetable market Narwal, Jammu are facing hardship due to scarcity of drinking water. It was disclosed by president of fruit Association, Veerji Raina while talking to newsmen, today. He rued that Narwal Mandi is second after Delhi where traders and farmers in maximum number come to deal in fruit and vegetable. He alleged that traders and others people faces lot of hardship due to scarcity of drinking water, adding that tanks and coolers have been installed at various places but without water.
Responsibility of maintenance of Mandi rests with Horticulture and Marketing Department, he said.
Demanding early resolution of this problem, he urged to the authorities for hassle free supply of water in the area.
