| Universal Foundation launches Plantation drive | | | EARLY TIMES REPORT
Jammu, Sep 15: Universal Foundation for Awareness and Development of Civil Society, (NGO), in collaboration with Environment and soil conservation department of Jammu today launches plantation drive and planted around thousand plant saplings.
Volunteer students of SR Public School at Gurah Brahmana Akhnoor, Vijaypur and Malhori-Jagir, Jammu accompanied members of NGO to plant trees. On the occasion they also educate inhabitants about the importance and utility of green plants.
Watching the school children planting the saplings, the locals also showed keen interest and demanded more saplings. Dineshwar Singh, president Universal Foundation and Parveen Sharma expressed gratitude for Sushil Sharma, Environment and Soil Conservation for his contribution which made this plantation drive a success.
