| Chotta Mani Mahesh yatra concludes | | | EARLY TIMES REPORT
Udhampur, Sep 15: Three days religious Chotta Mani Mahesh Dal Ram Rachana Yatra concluded here in Ram Rachana area in upper reaches on border of Udhampur and Doda districts, about ten thousand people from different districts including Ramban, Doda and Udhampur took part in this Yatra.
Jammu Kashmir National Panthers Party President and MLA Balwant Singh Mankotia was chief guest on the occasion.
He attended this Yatra on the request of committee members. This is the first time that any political leader attended this religious Yatra. Yarta started from Shiv Mandir Mathi on September 12 and finally reached at Ram Rachana yesterday via Upper Beota, Nadel Dera. Committe member Rashpal Singh, Angrez Singh, Suresh and Suresh Kumar thanked Mankotia for attending this historical occasion, the committee member of both the district elected Mankotia as chairman of all the religious Yatras of these districts.
While addressing the public at large on the occasion Mankotia appreciated the role of the committee members of both the districts and also assured all kind of support to upliftment of this Yatra. He also assured that he will take up the matter with concerned authorities for road connectivity, drinking water, medical care, and other basic facilities to the Yatries in the days to come. |
