| NGOs delegation calls on Governor | | | EARLY TIMES REPORT
Srinagar, Sep 15: A delegation of the All J&K NGOs Forum today called on the Governor NN Vohra, at Raj Bhawan. The delegation led by the president of the Forum, Sheikh Mohammad Hussain, discussed with the Governor the obtaining situation in the Kashmir Valley and expressed their serious concern over the losses being incurred in every arena of activity and particularly the most irreparable damage caused in the education sector due to disruption of the academic schedule. They put forth suggestion for the urgent restoration of peace and normalcy in the state and explained the various initiatives launched by their constituent organisations to have schools reopened, among other efforts made by them.
Governor gave a patient hearing to the delegation comprising the Secretary General of the Forum, Mohammad Amin Bhat, Ghulam Qadir Kullay, Advocate Mujib Ur Rehman and Mohammad Sadiq Malik. |
