GCET organized interaction programme for students of 1st Semester | | | Early Times Report Jammu, Sept 15: The Government College of Engineering and Technology (GCET) organized interaction programme for 17 Batch of Engineering Students of B.E 1st Semester, who have been admitted in the institute after being selected through BOPEE. Speaking on the occasion Principal of the College Prof. Bhopinder Singh welcomed the newly admitted students and made them aware about the importance of Engineers Day which is being celebrated in the memory of Visveswary, who was 1st Chief Engineer of India, hailing from Mysore. During the interaction, Heads of nine teaching departments and training and placement Officer of GCET also spoke on the occasion and apprised the students about various courses being offered by the College as well as facilitate available within the campus.
