| Jammu Warriors win Police Cricket Cup | | | Early Times Report
JAMMU, September 15: Jammu Warriors lifted the J&K Police Cricket Cup in a tournament organised for physical challenged boys at MA Stadium, here today.
In the final, Jammu Warriors defeated Jammu Dare Devis XI by six wickets. Earlier, batting first, Dare Devils set a target of 114 runs for the loss of five wickets in the stipulated 15 overs. Anil was top scorer with 45 runs while Sonu contributd 21. From Warriors, Niaz and Karan shared two wickets each while Kuldeep bagged one.
Later, Jammu Warriors reached the required total in 14.2 overs for the loss of four wickets. Arvinder reamiend the top scorer with 34 runs while Pankaj added 20 runs.
For his match winning innings, Arvinder was adjudged man of the mach while Anil of Jammu Dare Devils bagged the man of the series trophy. |
