NC is mother of all problems: PDP | | | Early Times Report Jammu, Sept 15: Lambasting National Conference led regime for its failure to solve basic problems of the masses, Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) today regretted that instead of addressing woes of the common people this regime was more concerned about befooling the people by raking up non issues. Addressing a public meeting organized by district president Thakur Suram Singh at Marh today, PDP leaders said that National Conference was mother of all problems as one and only aim of this party was to remain in power. PDP leaders said that present NC led regime has deceived the people by making false promises. They said that the residents of all regions of the state have been struggling to get basic amenities like drinking water, power and ration but the government seems to be non serious in solving these basic problems. Exhorting the party workers to expose mis-deeds of this regime, they regretted that the National Conference has not learnt any lessons from its past mistake. They said that promises made by the National Conference during the assembly elections remained only on papers. Instead of fulfilling the commitment which the NC had made with the people during assembly elections, this government has been deceiving the people by making false statements. They said that state has been gripped with unprecedented crises due to wrong policies being adopted by the present government. They pointed out that achievements of this government were confined only on papers and on ground nothing concrete has been done. They pointed out that failure of the State Government can be gauged from the fact that farmers, employees, technocrats, unemployed educated youth, students have been agitating in one way or other but the ruling elites seems to be unconcerned towards growing unrest among different sections of the society". Prominent among those who addressed the meeting included ex-MLC Ved Mahajan, Daman Bhasin, Shanti Devi, Falail Singh, Hussain Ali Bafa, Rajinder Manhas, Vikram Singh, Rashpal Bileoria, Bodh Raj and others.
