| Distt adm holds meet with PYC leaders | | | EARLY TIMES REPORT
Jammu, Sept 15 : Deputy Inspector General of Police (DIG), Jammu, Farooq Khan and District Development Commissioners, Jammu MK Dwivedi today held a meeting with the leaders of Pradesh Youth Congress (PYC), led by its National General Secretary, Amrinder Singh Raja and state President Shoaib Lone to clear the misunderstanding and communication gap created following Congress activists' peace rally on August 23 last in Jammu.
As per the party sources, the deadlock that emerged after the police resisted Congress activists from taking out the proposed rally was amicably resolved with both the sides expressing their regrets on the episode that occurred due to misunderstanding and communication gap. The administration assured that such type of incidents will never be repeated in future and the police will show maximum restraint, while handling such type of situation. The leaders of the Youth Congress while exhibiting a sense of responsibility pledged that they will always take care that their activities do not lead to law and order situation in the state.
