Jammu, Sept 15: At a time when Omar Abdullah is facing one of the worst crisis of his political career, his 'favourite' advisors, have gone into oblivion and hardly visible who were "hyper-active" before and in the intial phase of current spate of violence in Kashmir, have now gone into oblivion as they are hardly visible these days.
In the much needed hours, the advisors of the chief minister are missing. As the CM is failing miserabley to tackle the burden of situation, his advisors are yet to come up with a advice which could take out the CM out of the mess.
After the election, CM Omar Abdullah elected, his two advisors with the rank of MoS and cabinet rank minister, with the aim that they will lend him moral support at the time of crisis, but apathy of advisors is as such that till date they have not even shown their faces in public. The position of the advisors in the CM house is so significant that one had tobe in their contact before reaching up to CM, as there was no direct access to CM without their consultation. According to political experts, this was the high time for the advisors to discharge their duties by favouring CM in making prevailing unrest in the state calm. He said that the advisors to state CM are enjoying the free protocol of their position without making many efforts to stabilize the situation.
From politicians to common public every one was eyeing to the appearance of advisors in this situation to avert much damage. Their absence has raised many questions on their working and intellect of tackling such situations.
"This is unobvious on the part of advisors that they are disappeared at that time when the CM needs them very much. Their absence from the ground is indicating that either they are by mistake elected as advisor or they are poor in executing some concrete solution to this scenario," said Rawant Agarwal, JU student. Apart from CM, governor of the state NN Vohra In the turmoil of 2008 Amarnath land row had to appoint three former chief secretaries of the state as his advisors to assist him in the effective administration of the state.
Though the job of Advisors is to come out with rational ideas to counter any insurgency with proper way, but here the advisors of the CM are taking nap and are missing from the day 1 of this unrest.
Reacting to the apathy of advisors, score of Jammuities said that, at the time when the entire state is burning, the advisors of the CM are missing and CM is craving for their help.
"The immature chief minister of Jammu and Kashmir, Omar Abdullah had elected these two advisors and had placed them on the high profile positions for serving public and CM at the time of such crisis, but the both advisors are seems to be less interested in indulging thyself in such activities and are contended with the salary package and protocol of their position," said trader of Janipur, Ashok.
Even though the majority of the people in their opinion lamenting advisors for being so casual at the time of crisis, "they should oblige their duties with the aim for which they have been placed, they are only misusing their position. At this time the need of the hour for the advisors is to stand along with aggrieved CM, so that he may feel support,.
