| People asked to maintain peace, communal harmony | | | JAMMU: People of Poonch district have been asked to maintain peace and communal harmony and not to pay any heed to rumours.
In a meeting held at Poonch tonight, deputy commissioner Khajuria called upon the people to maintain communal brotherhood at all costs.
He also asked the people not to pay any attention to rumours.
Meanwhile, official sources said an appeal was also made by the district administration to the people not to resort to violence while making anti-US and pro-Quran protests. |
