| We will welcome Bharat Ratna | | | Jammu,October 27: Daughter of Brigadier Rajinder Singh Jamwal, Urvashi Pathania is satisfied with the treatment Indian army and both state and centre governments accorded to them after their father sacrificed his life safeguarding the frontiers of Nation. Talking to reporters here on the occasion of accession day celebrations after paying tributes to her father, she said, we have no complaints against anyone in the government."Humey kissi se koi shiqayat nahin hai" When asked to comment on the demand raised by the President of the Jammu and Kashmir ex-services league Maj General Goverdhan Singh Jamwal that Brigadier Rajinder Singh Jamwal should be awarded Bharat Ratna she said, our family would welcome if government decides to award him Bharat Ratna. She said, my father went in to battle field to fuffill his committment and not for winning medals. When asked how does she feel people when she come across news reports that people in Kashmir valley were celebrating accession day as black day and protesting she said, i donot know who these people are and from where they have come. "I have very good memories of Kashmir but now i feel scared because of so much of unrest in the valley", she concluded. |
