Kashmiri Samaj peeved over being ignored | | | Early Times Report JAMMU, Sept 16: Youth All India Kashmiri Samaj has taken strong exception to callous and irresponsible attitude of the governments both at the central and state levels in ignoring the Kashmiri Pandits in general and its youth in particular in all its policies directed towards solving Kashmir imbroglio. In a handout issued here today, it has been stated that a core group meeting was held under the chairmanship of R.K.Bhat wherein it was stated that Kashmiri Pandits were never consulted while framing government policies both at the state and central levels. Bhat warned that in case Kashmiri Pandit Community in general and its youth leadership in particular is ignored, they would observe two days hunger strike. Senior leaders of YAIKS who addressed the gathering included B. K. Bhat, Ramesh Bhat, Manoj Handoo, Ajay Safaya, Sunil Kaul, Sanjay Ganjoo and Deepak Dhar. |
