| BJP misleads people by provocative statements says Rattan | | | Early Times Report
Jammu, Sept 16: Reacting sharply over the baseless, malicious and concocted remarks made by BJP leadership against the chief minister Omar Abdullah, provincial President NC Jammu, Rattan Lal Gupta said that it is unfortunate that for their own petty political interests they are ranking up a controversy regarding misgov ernance, trust deficit and spineless govt. in the state. He said seeing the achievements made by chief minister Omar Abdullah believes in creating balance among all the regions, actions and not in presumptions, he said BJP leadership is trying to mislead the common people by making false and proactive statements. Gupta said that instead of criticizing the coalition govt. headed by Omar the main political parties, civil societies, social organizations, intellectuals should come forward and help in maintaining and restoring peace in the valley he further said that Abdullah is determined to restore peace at any cost for the welfare and upliftment of the people who have already suffered much. He further said National conference is committed for equitable development of all the three regions of the state and shall always strengthen secularism and brotherhood and will not compromise on these values and work to fight the communal forces who are hell bent on creating disorder, disharmony and to disturb peace in the valley.
He appealed the youth not to be mislead by disruptive forces and urged them to strengthen the hands of Omar Abdullah in order to have expeditious phase of development activities. |
