| DDC Kishtwar chaired review meeting of Rural Development Department. | | | Early Times Report
Kishtwar Sept 17: To review the developmental activities under the implementation in the rural Development sector, District Development Commissioner Kishtwar Sh. G.R Baghat (IAS) chaired a meeting of officals of Rural Development Department Kishtwar which was attended by ADDC, CPO, ACD, DPO Kishtwar and BDO’s of all blocks of Kishtwar District. During the course of the meeting, threadbare discussions were held on various schemes related to MGNREGA, Rural Sanitation, IAY, SGSY, BRGF and DRDA. The DDC issued instruction to all the participants to ensure completion of works with in stipulated time period strictly as per specifications. It was also desired by the DDC that the BDOs shall furnish a list of completed works to ADDC, ACD and Xen REW for physical verification.
The chairman took a serious view for below progress especially under TSE, IAY and SGSY and directed the concerned for expediting the pace of work besides ensuring that expenditure upto September 2010 is at the desired level. The ACD was also asked to furnish the utilization certificates to the concerned under centrally sponsored schemes without any further delay.
