Hindi Diwas celebrated

Jammu, Sept 17: On the occasion of Hindi Diwas, a function was organized in the premises of Govt.High School Kundra Tehsil and District Reasi in presence of Bodh Raj (Ex Sarpanch) Ram Singh, Dr. Moo Raj Sharma wherein the students were apprised about the importance of their Mother Tongue Hindi which was on 14th September, 1949 was declared as official national language of India by the Constituent Assembly.

A “Kavita Paath” was organized in which forty students from primary and secondary level participated. Gopal Krishan, Palvi Sarotia, Manik Sharma were adjudged as first, second and third respectively from primary level and Asif Hussain and Sheetal Devi adjudged first, Asha Rani adjudged second and Ravi sharma and Madhu Rani adjudged third fromsecondary level.
Further, Head Master of the school Sh. Gopal Krishan Komal presented the vote of thanks to all.
