| Presentation convent celebrates peace week | | | Early Times Report
Jammu, Sept 17: The peace club of presentation convent Sr. Sec. School celebrated peace week from 13th Sept to 17th Sep. The peace week was officially declared open the principal Sr. Rosamma with lighting of candles on the sacred space along with the members of peace club. The peace club members conducted assemblies through out the week so to bring peace and harmony in the state. Various activities were conducted through out the week for various classes like slogan writing, collage, dove and lantern making etc. The week culminated today with a special assembly conducted by the students of club. Students participated in the ceremony of passing the bread and salt which was initiated by Sr. Rosamma signifying that we care for others and spread the message of peace among our brethren. A peace ple was planted in school premises by Sr. Rosamma by the message ‘May Peace Prevail on Earth’ written in different languages.
Principal Rosamma in her address lay emphasis on the students to be the peace messengers in their homes, work places and school with the words ‘Peace begins with each persons’.
