| Passenger reservation system at Mendhar | | | Early Times Report
MENDHAR, Sept 17: Passenger reservation system was today inaugurated and commissioned by Brigadier Vinod Kumar Adappa on behalf of Major General Om Prakash (GOC) Ace of Spades Division.
He dedicated the same to the local populace of the area. Brigadier lauded the efforts of Bhimber Gali Brigade in provisioning of the same in record time of six months. He told that earlier the locals as well as the troops deployed in this area had to go either to Rajouri or Poonch for getting their rail reservation done. Now the facility is at their door step.
The local civilians had come in large numbers to interact and thank the Brigadier for his benevolence. This automated passenger reservation system will be having three consoles and troops in transit will also be able to benefit in a big way from the same.
