| NC activists hail Rahul Gandhi’s statement | | | Early Times Report
Jammu, Sept 17: The National Conference Provincial Office bearers, in a joint statement have expressed their satisfaction over the press statement made by AICC general secretary Rahul Gandhi yesterday at Kolkata has said, Omar Abdullah need more time and support to handle the complex situation of the state. They said Rahul has understood the situation of the state and has used his vision to deal with the complex issue. As per press release NC leaders have expressed their views that things in the valley are improving gradually as the people of the valley have understood the ground realities and have come to know that nothing can be achieved through violence and damaging public property.
Leaders also appealed the traders, social oranizations, Bar associations, student community etc. to cooperate with the law and order enforcement agencies so that the losses which they have already suffered do not persist in my more. They also appealed the law enforcing agencies to maintain strict vigil and indentify the miscreants who are hell bent to create problems in the valley and bring them to book that peace loving people of the state do not suffer any more.
The signatories of the statement include, Rattan lal Gupta provincial president, Brij Mohan, Haji Mohd Hussain, Master Noor Hussain, Ch. Haroon, Ch. Liaqat Ali, Ayoub Malik all vice president and others.
