EARLY TIMES TIMES
Jammu, Sept 18: Jammu and Kahmir National Panthers Party chairman Bhim Singh has described the visit of All Party Delegation to J&K as cosmetic exercise which shall only prolong the miseries of the sufferings of the people of Jammu and Kashmir who have been passing through a turmoil and trauma for the past three months under the inefficient, corrupt and dynastic rule in J&K against the wishes of the people.
The Panthers Party Chief said that there is no purpose in meeting such a ‘jumbo’ called All Party Delegation which has no idea of the suffering of the people under curfew and bullets.
The Panthers supremo wondered what happened to the outcome of the All Party Meeting at PM’s residence on 10th August, 2010.
The Panthers Party had placed a clear picture of the situation that prevails in Kashmir Valley and established with facts and situation that the Chief Minister had failed complete and he must resign.
The National Conference tried to hijack Prime Minister’s assurance as if autonomy was coming to Kashmir. All the important political parties of J&K was before the Prime Minister and the most important ministers of his cabinet including. P.K. Mukherjee, S.M. Krishna, A.K. Antony, P. Chidambaram were sitting on the dais for five hours and they heard everybody.
What is the fun of this delegation? Is it because some foreign elements in the domain of constitutional authority has exercised its‘veto’ in favour of the failed Chief Minister. In couple of hours, which people shall meet the All Party Delegation in Kashmir which is reeling under the curfew where people are not allowed to reach the graveyard to bury their nearer and dearer killed in police firing, said Bhim Singh.
Shall the delegation go to the people in Sopore, Budgam, Bandipora, Anantnag, Kulgam or Shopian? And those who are exercising veto should also be included in the All Party Delegation so that they can taste the existing turmoil in Kashmir.
Bhim Singh said that such a delegation shall only be counterproductive and a futile exercise as Omar Abdullah’s time as Chief Minister is over. He lost acceptability and credibility which shall not be restored by hundreds of vetos from Kolkatta or Delhi, he said.
