TWA condemn America’s role in sacrilegious act | | | EARLY TIMES REPORT Jammu, Sept 18: Teli Welfare Association (TWA), has condemned the role of America where the religious book was burnt. Addressing a press conference here today, TWA president Abdul Gani Teli said that there has been held mass demonstration throughout the world against such an act by America. He appealed to Manmohan Singh, Prime Minister of India to take up the matter with the USA so that the culprits who have done such blasphemy against the religious sentiments be brought to book and strict action is initiated against them. He further appealed to the common masses to demonstrate in a peaceful way and not to damage the government or private property and also live together in a peaceful way as our state has already suffered a lot due to strike and curfews and also appealed to the state government to pay the compensations amounting to Rs 10.00 lacs who have lost their lives and their kids be appointed in the state Government and also take concrete care to control the present situation immediately. The other who attended the conference were secretary Reham Din Malik, secretary Gujar Bakerwal Conference Jammu and Kashmir, Akhtar Khatana, president People Welfare Association, Salim Malik, President Kandi Welfare Association Raj Kumar, Muslim Front Welfare Association Shah Malik, president and secretary Parshotam Lal and Puran Chand of Sariea Sabha, president Samaj sudhar Sabha Yousuf Wani, president Kandi Brahman Sabha Sham Lal Sharma, president Youth Rajput Sabha Sham Singh Jamwal.
