Sunderbani delegation meets Mangat Ram, apprise of problems, issues

Sunderbani, Sept 18: A delegation of Congress leaders of block Sunderbani met Mangat Ram Sharma-former deputy chief minister and senior vice president PCC during his tour of Sunderbani and discussed various issues of party and problems of people of the area.
They put forth the demand of degree college at Sunderbani and urged senior Congress leaders to take up the issue on priority basis.
The leaders of Block Congress Committee also discussed organizational affairs and the various issues concerning the public. They apprised Sharma about developmental activities in the area and the keen interest being shown by MLC Ravinder Sharma to mitigate the problems of people of the area.
Congress workers felt the need to further monitor the developmental activities for proper implementation at grass root level. They further said that Sunderbani is a center place of areas of adjoining tehsils like Akhnoor, Pouni, Kalakote and Nowshera and needs upgradation of education and health facilities.
While the government is up grading the facilities in sub-district hospitals Sunderbani, the need of Degree College is overdue and over justified.
Mangat Ram Sharma assured the delegation that he will take up their demand at the appropriate level in the party and the government.
He appealed to the people to maintain peace and traditional harmony in the wake of prevailing situation.
The delegation comprised of Lok Nath Khajuria, Krishan Lal Sharma, Hem Raj, Chander Mohan Sharma, Ravi Rajan Raina, Bansi Lal, Naseer Ahmed and others.
