| Two J&K players in Indian Tug of War team | | | EARLY TIMES REPORT
JAMMU, Sept 18: Two senior players from Jammu and Kashmir have been selected by the Tug-of-War Federation of India for the forthcoming 2nd International Gold Cup Tug-of-War Championship to be held in Kerela from Septemebr 26.
Part of Indian team, these two players from the state are Ashwani Kumar and Ankush Badyal.
“Both these Jammu boys were selected in the Indian team on the basis of their performance in the trials conducted by the Federation on September 10 at Nanded in Maharashtra,” Association general secretary, Ravinder Singh Sasan told SAN.
Meanwhile, the J&K Tug of War Association, in a function held here, congratulated both the players and wished them success.
