| Army mela at Ratnuchak Military Station | | | Early Times Report
JAMMU, Sept 18: Sabre Brigade conducted “Know Your Army Mela” at Ratnuchak Military Station to showcase army to the school children.
The state- of-art weapons and equipments of army were displayed for satisfying inquisitive minds of school children. A confluence of over 4000 children from different school witnessed the event in which various food stalls were established.
The Mela fostered great interaction between the army and the school children. It was heart warming to see the eager participation of the motivated youth of the region who pledged to join the Army and voiced their solidarity with the men in uniform. It was greeted with immense curiosity and enthusiasm by large number of children who attended the same. Event was inaugurated by Director, Family Welfare Organization, Sabre Brigade Naveeta Singh.
