Ritik to represent Indian speed ball team at Japan | | | EARLY TIMES REPORT JAMMU, Sept 18:The students of S.D Tara Puri Public High School, Gandhi Nagar brought laurel to the school as speed ball team of the school bagged runner up trophy at 2nd National tournament at Delhi from sept. 10 to 14 Master Ritik Sharma got selected for World Game at Japan and represent Indian speed ball team. Gurmanjeet Singh got gold medal. Ankit Sharma, Bharti Mehra and Ritik Sharma of the institution got silver medals. The team was led by Sunny Nanda, A karate Coach school management and the staff congratulate the team and their parents for their glorious victory.
Page 5 Release pending installments of DA to employees, pensioners: PTU Panthers Trade Union (PTU) in a meeting chaired Daljit Singh its chairman discussed the problems faced by the government employees, employees of public and private sector and pity businessmen, trade organization and labourers etc. Daljit Singh and Shakti Gupta welcomed the decision of centre government to release 10% DA installment in favour of centre government employees and urged upon the state government to release the 10% DA installment in favour of state government employees and pensioners form July 2010. They urged upon the state government to release the payment of 6th pay commission arrears form January 2006 and 6% DA installment from January 2009 which has not been pad till date. They also urged upon the state government to make necessary amendment in labour law thus enthusing the minimum daily wage to Rs. 200 in light of present inflation.
