Govt should come forward for rescue of Bakarwals: Kohli | | | EARLY TIMES REPORT Jammu, Sept 18: Senior Congress leader Engineer AG Kohli demanded government to come forward for rescue of Bakarwals who are being forced by some miscreants to join with them in their struggle in Kashmir. Kohli, through press release, said that the Bakarwals mostly from Kalakote area reaches in the pastures of Bandipore uphill in Kahmir Province every year. Later he along with In charge Congress Party Kalakote Kuldip Raj Sharma conducted a tour in some villages of hilly district Rajouri and condemned shameful act of discretion of holy Quran in America. Kohli stressed people to maintain brotherhood and communal harmony. People of the village Kalakuse, Makoo, Samrola, Manwan ,Baravaria and Kalaran apprised the Congress leaders that the villages are devoid of electricity and regular water supply. People also apprised that there is no health care facility besides under staffed school in these villages. They were assured by the Congress leaders that their genuine grievances would be brought to the notice of Government for redressel.
