Army organizes medical aid camp | | | Early Times Report UDHAMPUR, Sept 19: In an effort to win hearts and minds of civil population of Jammu and Kashmir under Operation Sadbhavana, Army organised medical aid camp at Village Pathi in Udhampur district. Camp was organised by 41 EME Bn (Tpt) and doctors of command hospital. Civilian dignitaries, village heads, ex-servicemen and ladies were also present. Camp consisting of gynecologist, eye and ENT specialists, pediatrician, skin specialist and physicians drew large crowd of patients from adjoining villages of Pathi. In addition to primary health service of specialist doctors, pathological test facility was provided and free medicines were distributed by the Army. Senior army officers visited the camp site and interacted with local population and ex-servicemen. He expressed great satisfaction and pleasure for the medical facilities provided in the camp. He complimented the army and Command Hospital (Northern Command) for preparations and grand success of such medical camp. He expressed that such programs conducted under Operation Sadbhavna will go long way towards enhancing spirit of National integration and general well being in the region.
