NC aggravated common man’s problems: PDP | | | Early Times Report BILLAWAR, Sept 19: Lambasting National Conference led government for its failure to address basic problems of the common masses, Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) general secretary Thakur Balbir Singh regretted inability of the present dispensation to identity itself with the people. Addressing a meeting of party workers at Billawar in Kathua district, Thakur Balbir Singh said that coalition regime has not only lost its credibility but this government has also exposed before the common masses because it has done nothing to honour mandate of the people. “It was all due to pro-people policies adopted by previous PDP led regime that common masses identified themselves with the democratic institutions of the state”, he said. He reminded that people had overwhelming supported steps taken by PDP-led regime for the betterment of the general public. He said that PDP regime had revived peoples’ faith in democracy but added that present government has shattered the same due to its policies. PDP general secretary added that the present government has failed to identity itself with the people. He expressed concern at the mounting problems being faced by people of the state.
