| Arbab memorial cricket tournament organized at Kishtwar. | | | EARLY TIMES REPORT
Kishtwar Sept 19: The sports lover of Kishtwar today arranged a cricket tournament in memory of Late Arbab Alam of Sarkoot Kishtwar, who died last year at the age of 23, late Arbab is an all rounder plays for Sarkoot Cricket club Kishtwar. The tournament which was organized by Sarkoot Cricket Club was inaugurated by Tehsildar Kishtwar Haji Abdul Rashid Butt at Chowghan ground Kishtwar in presence of hundreds of support lovers. More then 30 local teams as well as teams from other parts of the state will clash for the prize money of Rs. 30000 for the winner and Rs. 20000 for the runner up. Among the prominent who were present on this occasion includes Dr. Salahudin Chowdhary Dy. SP (DAR), Kakka Ram Sen, Mansoor Ahmed Mattoo, Riaz Butt, Master Ashok Ji, Sajjad Ahmed, Irshad Ahmed and others. Ghulam Mohudin Rahi the father of Late Arbab Alam thanks the organizing committee for organizing a cricket tournament in memory of his younger son.
