Early Times Report
JAMMU, Sept 19: Jammu and Kashmir National Panthers Party in a meeting held here at its headquarter Jammu decided not to meet all Party Delegation visiting Jammu and Kashmir.
State secretariat of the Panthers Party questioned legality and propriety of the delegation besides its terms of reference. JKNPP has already made its stand clear in the meeting which was presided over by the Prime Minister. Congress Party has now the sole agenda of projecting and installing Rahul Gandhi as Prime Minister whereas the NC is putting all stakes in protecting Omar Abdullah as Chief Minister, added the JKNPP leadership.
JKNPP has said that present NC-Cong coalition has lost all credibility, peoples’ faith and support. JKNPP has already projected that reorganization of the state, empowering people of all the three regions with assemblies, secretariats and recruitment system is the only way out to restore peace in the state. Those who have signed this handout included Balwant Singh Mankotia, Daljit Singh, Hari Chand Jalmeria, Shanti Sarup Basotra, Bansi Lal Sharma, Rajinder Singh Manju, Faqir Nath and Shakti Gupta.
Meanwhile, JKNPP has also expressed serious concern over increasing prices of essential commodities. JKNPP Provincial Secretary Anil Parihar today held central government responsible for it. Addressing party workers meeting at Kishtwar, he said that prices are rising alarmingly. He added that congress talks about poor but is crushing them mercilessly by raising prices of essential commodities. District Secretary of Kishtwar unit of JKNPP Om Parkash Sen urged the state government to withdraw hike in milk prices, bus fares, power tariff and duty on petrol.
