SRS oppose withdrawal of AFSPA from J&K | | | Early Times Report Jammu, Sept 19: Shri Ram Sena (SRS) is not in favour of withdrawal of Armed forces special power act (AFPSA) in the state of Jammu Kashmir. Addressing the media persons here today SRS president Rajiv Mahajan totally objected withdrawal of AFPSA from the state, as demanded by politicians and separatist from Kashmir valley. Mahajan further said, Sri Ram Sena has already protested against its withdrawal on December 23, 2009. he said situation in Kashmir will get from bad to worst of army is withdrawn and added it clearly indicates that these separatist, and some self style leaders are trying to creat un-peaceful atmosphere in Kashmir valley with one reason as the other fro the sake of their personal gains. Mahajan said that it is being observed that the chief Minister of Jammu and Kashmir is having lenient policy towards separatist groups and some other self styled political leaders, who are creating un-peaceful atmosphere in valley. He appealed to the chief minister to deal with such anti social elements strictly who may be put behind the bars outside of J&K state. The government should broadly deal with such anti social elements, the members of Shri Ram Sena, have advised the central government to given more powers to the armed forces in J&K state, who are discharging their duties round the clock, in the interest of the people of State, who should be encouraged in every manner and should not leave any stone unturned while discharging their duties, for the peaceful atmosphere in the J&K State. The members of Shri Ram Sena suggested for the governor’s rule in the Jammu and Kashmir State, if the present state government is not able to maintain law and order in Kashmir valley. Among those who were present in the meeting included Bal Krishan Arora, Vinay Gupta, Deepak Sharma, Parul Gupta, Anil Chopra, Pawan Choudhary, Raghvir Krishan Gupta, Shiv Kumar Sharma and Ashok Choudhary.
