| Non-locals under police scanner at Kishtwar | | | EARLY TIMES REPORT
KISHTWAR, Sept. 19:- The Kishtwar police and district administration on the findings of 14th September’s public- police clash at Kishtwar , and on the specific inputs have come on the conclusion that the persons who have migrated from the peripheries of Kishtwar, as well as the persons belonging to other states who are camping at Kishtwar in connection with business from last few years are playing vital role in clashes , provocations and creating law and order problem. The photography and video clips available with police most of the youths who took part in recent clash and raising the pro-azadi slogans belonging to peripheries of Kishtwar . Dr. Haseeb Mughal S.P. Kishtwar while interacting with media persons said that the police has started registration of all the non-locals who are present in Kishtwar and their antecedents will be verified properly besides keep strict vigil on the activities. The concerned head of educational institutions will also be given the task to keep monitoring on the students and their full particulars will be transmitted to Police for records.
Deputy Commissioner Kishtwar, G.R. Bhagat when asked about this move said that he has already issued directions to Tehsildar Kishtwar that he alongwith Executive Officer Municipal Committee Kishtwar will make the registration of non-locals present in Kishtwar, so that no ugly incident will took place at Kishtwar in future.
