| Gujjars lock horn with Army, injures seven army men | | | EARLY TIMES REPORTER
JAMMU | OCT 27
Seven army men were injured, three of them seriously, when a group of Gujjars entered into a scuffle with the army personnel at Vijaypur near Devak River here this morning. Army personnel’s, to disperse the Gujjars from the spot, shot the fires in the air.
The seriously injured army personnel have been identified as Ganga, Sukhwinder Singh and Devinder. The reason behind the scuffle couldn’t be ascertained so far.
Meanwhile, in a theft case at Airport residential quarters, thieves decamped with the gold worth Rs.30, 000 of a lady doctor’s quarter. She has been identified as Sangam wife of Flt Lt. Sukhwinder Singh.
