PGDF likely to meet all party team today | | | EARLY TIMES REPORT RAJOURI, Sept 20 : A deputation of Pahari Gujjar Development Forum (PGDf) from border districts of Poonch and Rajouri would be meeting the All Party delegation tomorrow to represent the people of these districts and also elaborate their role in the prevailing situation in Jammu and Kashmir . When contacted GA Khawaja Deputy Commissioner, Rajouri said that as per the appeal by the Chief Minister to all those who want to represent their areas should get in touch with the district administration, the delegation of Pahari- Gujjar Development Forum (PGDF) approached him today. " Their representation has been conveyed to the Divisional Commissioner for the appointment . The list carries more than fifty names and it would be decided by the higher authorities how many would be allowed to meet the delegation," said Deputy Commissioner. Meanwhile,Shabaz Khan , president J&K Pahari People's Movement (JKPPM) informed here that Divisional Commissioner, Jammu had confirmed their meeting with the delegation and has allowed eight members. In an emergency meeting of the PGDF this evening, the names of the eight members were finalised which includes four members from Gujjar community and four members from LKPPM. Those selected includes Dr MK Wakar Enineer Liyakat Choudhry, Moulvi Mohd Akram , Dr Rafiq Anjum all from Gujjar community and Shahbaz Khan, Fazal Khan Khurseed Tantrey and Wasim Mirza all from JKPPM. Later, a meeting of the PGDF was held to discuss the agenda and points to be raised before the delegation during their meeting. They welcomed Prime Minister's announcement of a package that seeks to provide employment to 50,000 youth.
