| Police-Public interaction meet held at GHSS, Channi Himmat | | | EARLY TIMES REPORT
JAMMU, Sept 20: A Police-Public Interaction meet, organized by IRP-15th Batalion, was held at Government Higher Secondary School, Channi Himmat Jammu here today.. Chief Education Officer, Jammu Mr. Natha Ram Dingra was the chief guest on the occasion while SP IRP 15th Batalion Mr. M. S. Chouhan was the guest of honour. Principal of the School, Mrs. Veena Bhagat, requested the police authorities to organize more such programmes. Speaking on the occasion, Mr. Dingra asked the students participate in such programmes to know about the role of Police in a society and the ways in which they can also contribute towards the welfare of the society. SP, M. S. Chouhan was also present on the occasion. The students of the school also played Kho-Kho and Kabadi matches on the occasion.
Meanwhile, the Police organization distributed uniforms among fifty poor students besides giving away prizes to the students who participated in the matches.
