| Students suffering due to non seriousness of IGNOU | | | EARLY TIMES REPORT
JAMMU, Sept 20: Due to non-seriousness of state government and Education Department thousands of students are suffering because IGNOU's non-serious conduct of things at its center at Canal Road Jammu .
Jammu Joint Students Federation (JJSF) took a strong notice on this issue as activist in a great number gathered at IGNOU office and raised slogans against Education Dept, state govt and concerned authorities (Regional Dir.)
The protest was led by Amandeep Singh (president SPMR college), Sanjay Sharma (president GGM.SC.college) Vikram Partap Singh (working president Tehsil Jammu) and Vishal Sadotra under the guidance of Partap Singh Jamwal (state vice president JJSF).
JJSF activist marched to Regional Director Office IGNOU and opened the Director's office forcefully. They gathered in office the Regional Director and on finding him absent JJSF activist aggressively sloganeered against him.
Partap Singh Jamwal on the occasion said that the IGNOU center has taken one more building on rent for the same center at Shakti nagar Jammu .
The Regional Director IGNOU is mostly found absent in both centers which is causing lot of problems for students.
The students coming for getting information are referred from here and there and vice versa. Due to this the time and money of students is wasted uselessly.
JJSF demanded that the two office running at different place should be brought under a single roof.
Other JJSF leaders present included Rahul Verma, Neeraj Verma, Suresh Jamwal, Ajay Sharma, Maninder Singh, Rahil Rajput, Viney Sharma, Jakhan Sharma, Nassir Choudhary, Amit Manhas, Sumit Gupta, Rahul Sharma.
