| NSF highlights student's issues | | | EARLY TIMES REPORT
R.S.PURA Sept 20: National Secular Forum (NSF) noticed that there are lot of problems that are being faced by the students and the people of this place and nothing has been done so far by the concerned MLA overcome with the problems that are being faced by the residents of that place.
Addressing the convocation Vikas Sharma President NSF said that transporters particularly (R.S.Pura) bus operators are not giving fare concessions to the students.
"Traffic cops deployed on the routes always busy in entry culture, ignoring the duties assigned to them for manning traffic and implementing rules and regulations," the NSF president said, adding "Traffic cops has developed a nexus with the bus operators and they don't take action against them (operators) for charging extra fare from students."
Vikas Sharma asserted that the transporters refuse to give concession to students on these routes primarily on the plea that they have to give entry to the cops at every crossing leading to the dispute between both the parties.
He further said that the police are always harsh towards the student community and not cooperating with the young generation which in turn brings bad name to them.
Surjit Choudhary appraised Vikas Sharma that even that all the combinational subjects which fall in arts are not available for the student and the students are facing a lot of problems as they have no other option and nothing has been done by the administration for its coming up with combinational subjects.
He said that the apart from the worst condition of the degree college, hospital and stadium is also in worst condition and nothing has been done so far to improve the conditions.
In the convocation its constitutes unit for R.S.Pura Teshil in which Ashwani Sharma has been appointed as President of the NSF R.S.Pura wing. Vikas Singh as the Chairman NSF R.S.Pura wing. Ajay Choudhary, Kuldeep Singh, Jatinder Singh, SomParksh, was appointed as Vice-President.
Balwinder Chowdhary was appointed as Gen.Secretary. Raman Kumar was appointed as org.Secretary. Vicky Singh was appointed as Adviser, Lucky Singh was appointed as Cashier. Ajay Sharma was appointed as Press Secretary. Sonu Chib, Gulashan Singh, Sandeep Singh were appointed Secretary
Sandeep Singh was appointed as convener and Vikas Chib, Sunny, Rinku, Rahul, Prinka Singh, Lucky Chib, Romika Chib, Sandeep Chib, Surinder Singh Chib and others were elected members.
Surjit Chowdhary District President NSF and Rakesh Chib Vice President NSF and also holding the post of President JURSEA welcomed all the members in the organization and hoped that they will work unitedly for the organization.
