Veteran Journalist Narendra Mohan's death anniversary observed | | | early times report Jammu, Sept 20 : Jammu and Kashmir unit of Dainik Jagran Group of Public-ations today observed 8th death anniversary of late Narendra Mohan, Member Parliament and former Editor-in-Chief, Dainik Jagran Group. In this connection a plantation drive was launched by Minister for Medical Education and YSS RS Chib at Baldev Institute of Management, Kaluchak. Chib planted a sapling in memory of Late Narender Mohan. Paying glowing tributes to late Narendra Mohan, he recalled his valuable contribution to field of Hindi journalism and said that he championed in steering the Dainik Jagran to its unsurpassable position. He said that Narendra Mohan with his erudition and incisiveness provided a new dimension to the issues and events he commented upon. 'He will be remembered for his rich contribution to the world of Journalism and development of Indian Press for long, he said. Chib in his tributes remembered Late Narendra Mohan, for his dedicated journalism and deep simplicity and sincerity all through his life. Remembering his contribution to the field of literature, Chib also recalled reading his number of articles on different subjects. To start with the occasion Principal of Institute Prof Virendra Gupta presented welcome address to special invitee Minister for Medical Education and the gathering. He also urged the youth and students of the college to seek inspiration from the life and times of noble soul. Director of Institute Kunal Chib, Editor (J&K) of Dainik Jagran Abhimanyu Sharma and Staff members and students were also present on this occasion.
