| Male embryo found near Kathua hospital | | | KATHUA, Sept 20: In a clear case of illegal abortion, a male embryo was found outside the district hospital gate here today.
When the matter was brought to their notice by some locals, police reached the spot and after completing legal formalities, removed the embryo to the hospital mortuary.
Though police had registered a case in this connection, the accused were yet to be identified.
It is pertinent to mention here that some private nursing homes here were allegedly involved in the illegal business of doing abortions in lieu of huge amounts of money.
