Foundation stone of martyr gate laid | | | Early Times Report UDHAMPUR, Sept 21: Jammu and Kashmir National Panthers Party (JKNPP) and MLA Udhampur Balwant Singh Mankotia today laid foundation stone for the construction of gate at ward no 3 of Udhampur town in the memory of Martyr Nail Tilak Raj. Singh disclosed that memorial gate would be constructed at a cost of Rs. 2 lakh from his Constituency Development Fund. He also sanctioned Rs. 2 Lakh out of his constituency development fund for the construction of a culvert in the same ward near Police Station, Udhampur. After completion, the culvert would facilitate the smooth flow of water especially during rains. Later to know about the grievances of the locals, MLA convened a public durbar in the Mohalla of Ward no 3. He assured the patients that their genuine problems would be redressed on the priority basis by projecting these to the concern quarters. He also issued instructions to engineers of Local body for immediate start of the construction work of the shed near Kali Mata Mandir.
