The members were accompanied by Deputy Director Intelligence Bureau Anurag Kumar. They arrived at GMC&H at around 5 pm and remained there for 45 minutes. In a statement from a Jammu hospital where he was brought from the Kot Bhalwal Jail, Shah described the present movement in Kashmir as a decisive phase of the struggles of the past 63 years. Shah was brought to the hospital at about 1.20 pm, five hours before delegation arrived, for medical check up. Separatist leader and Chairman of Democratic Freedom Party Shabir Shah was taken into custody under Public Safety Act and is presently lodged in Kot Bhalwal Jail. He has been taken to the hospital for the treatment of kidney and skin related ailments, the sources said. |
