| 7-day long extension lecture concludes at SPMR College | | | Early Times Report
Jammu, Sept 22: Seven days long extension lecture programme organized by Carrier Counselling Cell of SPMR, College of Commerce, Jammu concluded here today. The programme was commenced on September 14, with the aim of boosting morale of the students. On the first three days of the extension lecture, Prof Ajay Kotwal delivered and apprised students with 'Communication for Success', wherein students showed great enthusiasm.
It was an inspiring and interactive session which was focused on providing profound consciousness for broadening student's sphere of awareness, knowledge and confidence. During the seven days extension program, lectures were delivered on Personality Development, featuring various themes.
Prof BL Thusoo, imparted students with lecture on Aptitude and
Reasoning Tests, whereas lecture on Communicative and Presentation Skills was delivered by Prof Shabir Ahmad of SPMR College.
Besides, these two, various other themes included 'Know Thyself', 'Communicative Skills', 'Body Language and Presentation Skills' and 'Time Management'.
The programme provided an opportunity to the students for awareness and self-improvement in developing their personality traits and to make themselves fully equipped for pursuit careers ahead.
On the occasion the Convener, Career Counseling Cell, Prof, Sunil
Tickoo, expressed his gratitude to the Principal, Dr Anita Sudan for initiating such programme. He also uttered thanks to speakers for guiding student community.
Tickoo thanked Career Counseling Cell for their active involvement in making programme success.
At the end of the programme, HoD, BBA, SPMR College, Bharti Slathiya presented vote of thanks.
