| Complete pleadings in Banquet Hall case: HC | | | EARLY TIMES report
Jammu, Sept 22: A Division Bench of J&K High Court (Jammu Wing) comprising Justice Virender Singh and Justice Mansoor Ahmed Mir directed to list petition (Banquet Hall Case) along with all connected CMPs in the week commencing October 11, 2010. Meanwhile, the court order to complete pleadings in all respects. Interim order to continue.
This direction has been passed in a petition filed by Puran Chand & Ors in which Advocate SK Ananad appeared for the petitioners and whereas Advocates PN Raina and Mrs. Monika Kohli appeared for the respondents who produced modified Master Plan of Jammu 2021.
It is worth mentioning here 85 Banquet Halls were declared were declared unauthorized.
The petitioner submitted that some banquet halls are being run without proper permission from the municipal authorities.
It is stated that nuisance is being created by such banquet halls which are operating illegally and further stated that even some banquet halls are operating in residential areas and the noise pollution is also being created by the said banquet halls as the music system on kept for whole the nights.
