PPM appeal people to respect Sept 24 court verdict | "Kick out anti-peace elements in Rajouri administration" | | EARLY TIMES report Rajouri, Sept 22: Appealing Poonch-Rajouri residents to maintain peace, Jammu Kashmir Pahari Peoples Movement has said that there are few elements in district administration who did not want to give peace a chance and are ignoring those people who have a role in maintaining peace in the area. Jammu Kashmir Pahari Peoples Movement chief executive Shahbaz Khan has said that some communal elements may hijack September 24 Allahabad High Court verdict on Babri Masjid land title issue and they may create problems. He said that these communal elements are found in Muslims as well Hindus and they created wedge between the communities only for their own political benefits. "We should not give ear to them and should foil their designs", Khan said appealing residents of Poonch and Rajouri to respect the court verdict and maintain peace in the area. "There is option open for struggle in the Supreme Court so nobody from Muslims and Hindu community should create such environment which will take any human life", Khan said. Although Khan said that Deputy Commissioner Rajouri, Ghulam Ahmed Khawaja, Deputy Inspector General of Police SD Singh Jamwal and Senior Superintendent of Police RK Jala are positive in maintaining peace in the area, some people in administration are sabotaging their peace initiatives. "There are few people in Rajouri administration who are working to sabotage peace initiative of DDC", Khan said adding that these people did not want to see stability in the area due to reason better known to them. Suggesting DDC to trace out black sheep in his administration, PPM leader said that these officials are dangerous for peaceful atmosphere of Rajouri and they must be traced and kicked out from the district so that traditional peace is not disturbed in the area. "I came to know that some officials are involving those people in peace initiative who have no role in the field and have intentionally ignored those who are real workers of maintaining peace", Khan said adding that DDC must cross check his lists of people who are being engaged in peace initiative and should struck off those who have no role in it. |
